Wedding Proposal Is A Snap at LEGOLAND:
The foundation for a strong marriage might be a 2 x 6 plastic brick. Earlier this week, a Colorado couple were engaged at LEGOLAND in California. The proposal was the creative concoction of Troy Cobb, who worked more than a month to arrange for one of the park’s master builders to create a sign that was mounted on the Eiffel Tower located in Miniland’s replica of the Las Vegas Strip. The couple, who are both LEGO aficionados, plan on topping their wedding cake with LEGO minifigs.
Wired has touched on geeky marriage proposals before, but this one holds a dear place in our hearts, given GeekDad’s love of all things LEGO.
What about you – know a good geeky wedding proposal story? Did you pop the question in true geek fashion? Let us know!
