Make sure your client computer is set to use DHCP. Click on Advanced &#8211;&gt; Ethernet and write down the Mac Address for the client\/server computer&#8230;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open Airport Utility&#8230;..<\/li>\n<li>Open your Airport Extreme<\/li>\n<li>Click on Internet<\/li>\n<li>Click on DHCP<\/li>\n<li>Click on + under DHCP Reservations<\/li>\n<li>Add a description (eg Server), and click on Reserve Address By Mac Address<\/li>\n<li>Click on Continue<\/li>\n<li>Add the Mac Address, and type in the IP Address you want to assign it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>This will cause the computer to always get the same IP Address through DHCP.
