Well, I started randomly having Steam report:<\/p>\n
Steam.exe (main exception): CMultiFieldBlob(pSerialized): Partial field header at end of record<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
This happened after windows froze on a lockup during shutdown… \u00c2\u00a0The system froze on Shutdown, and it didn’t complete shutting down after 10 minutes…. I was forced to force a power off…<\/p>\n
To solve this problem:<\/p>\n
\n
- Exit Steam<\/span><\/li>\n
- Delete your clientregistry.blob file<\/span><\/li>\n
- Reboot your pc<\/span><\/li>\n
- Log back into Steam and let the file recreate itsel<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
No data is lost, and everything seems to be working fine now…<\/p>\n
