JoBlo is reporting that Catherine Hardwicke is in talks to deveope & direct the Maximum Ride movies… Based, obviously off the Maximum Ride books. The first two books are good escapism fantasy… I haven’t had a chance to read the 3rd book, but according to my wife & mother-in-law, the 3rd book is too preachy regarding environmentalism…..<\/p>\n

Hardwicke rides again<\/a> – Apparently Catherine Hardwicke loves young-adult fantasy series. After directing that TWILIGHT movie everybody went apeshit for, Hardwicke is now in talks to develop and direct a film adaptation of ‘Maximum Ride’, another epic tale about hot boys and girls with special powers.
