A Limelight, or Calcium light, is a type of stage lighting that used to be used in the live theatre. \u00c2\u00a0The light is created when an oxyhydrogen flame is directed onto a piece of quicklime. \u00c2\u00a0The quicklime can be heated up to 2572 degrees C before it will melt.<\/p>\n
This obviously heats the quicklime to be white high, which produces the light…<\/p>\n
