Within this section you will be able to specify all Windows AutoPlay features.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Windows 98, ME, and 2000\n<ul>\n<li>Click Start, Programs, Windows Explorer<\/li>\n<li>Within Explorer click View and then Folder Options.<\/li>\n<li>Click the File Types tab and locate &#8221; CD Audio Track&#8221; category within the list of available file types.<\/li>\n<li>Highlight &#8221; CD Audio Track&#8221; and click Edit or Advanced.<\/li>\n<li>In the Actions category change the default from Play to Open or none.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Windows 95\n<ul>\n<li>Open My Computer click View, Options, File Types<\/li>\n<li>Highlight the &#8221; Audio CD&#8221; section and click edit.<\/li>\n<li>Change the default action from Play to Open or none.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Periodically, I have needed to change the settings for Windows CD Autoplay&#8230; Feel free to offer a more streamlined suggestion, or anything else in the comments&#8230; Windows XP Open My Computer or Explorer Highlight the CD-ROM drive, right-click the CD-ROM drive and click properties.
